Fall 2018Team Lead & Morgan Kipf
Club Vice President [email protected] Major: Environmental Science & Management Concentration: Energy & Climate Minor: Oceanography Hometown: Loomis, CA I chose HSU for its small class sizes, hands-on learning, and beautiful location in the redwoods and by the ocean. I originally became involved with Green Campus because I wanted to make a difference in sustainability at HSU and begin working in my career field. My goals with Green Campus are to help the group grow, continue to learn more about sustainability, and to be a part of an ever greening H.S.U. Club President David W. Grover [email protected] Major: Environmental Science & Management Concentration: Planning & Policy Hometown: Kirkville, NY I was originally attracted to the area (landscape, etc.) & the university’s reputation for environmental stewardship, but have received much more through the ESM curriculum & from HSU’s ongoing commitment to comprehensive, student initiated innovations. I feel Green Campus is the best way to get real world experience, along with a chance to utilize some the comprehensive tools & knowledge I’ve acquired at HSU. Club Treasurer Kiara Cuerpo-Hadsall [email protected] Major: Environmental Science & Management Concentration: Planning & Policy Hometown: Stockton, CA Hi my name is Kiara Cuerpo-Hadsall. I am currently a senior majoring in Environmental Science and Management with a focus on Planning and Policy. I am from Stockton, CA, where the San Joaquin Delta first ignited my love for the environment. I have a huge interest in sustainable development in local communities and it is my goal to build more resilient communities through green infrastructure and sustainable choices. I believe this is best done at local levels and at home and, as of right now, HSU is my home. That is why I applied to be an intern with Green Campus, a group of like-minded individuals passionate about making HSU a more sustainable campus. I am excited to learn more about energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction as well as being involved in making a change in my community. Club Administrative Megan Moore Assistant [email protected] Major: Environmental Resources Engineering Hometown: Lotus, CA This is my second semester participating in Green Campus. I chose to work with Green Campus because we do projects/work that really makes a difference at HSU and I can see it carrying over to communities outside of HSU and Arcata. Green Campus is giving me experience in the areas that will be useful in my future career.
