Intern: Become a For-Credit Intern
You can become a for-credit or volunteer intern for the semester. Under supervision from student-peer Project Coordinators, the successful candidates will join the Green Campus team at HSU, engaging in marketing and outreach, project implementation, and career and skill building workshops.
Students interested in exploring what Green Campus is all about while making a tangible commitment to the organization may earn course credit.
Students generally assist with outreach and education, reporting, or direct implementation of conservation measures in order to earn their credit.

Qualifications
- Current college student (energy efficiency and/or sustainable campus background a plus)
- Excellent marketing skills
- Graphic arts/graphic design experience a plus
- Website construction and maintenance experience a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Good team skills
- Good writing skills
- Past experience with tracking data and use of spreadsheets
- Mentoring and teaching abilities
- Ability to follow through even on tedious tasks
- Strong commitment to sustainability
- Energy auditing experience a plus
Interns supports the activities of leaders and coordinators within Green Campus. In this capacity, an intern would be responsible for interfacing with University administration, staff, professors, and students.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Establishing program support
- Attending and participating in weekly PowerSave Green Campus planning and implementation meetings
- Working with campus staff & students to market the program to the student community
- Project monitoring, evaluating, and reporting to PowerSave Green Campus Project Manager and other team members
Volunteer: Become a Volunteer Intern
Any HSU student is invited to volunteer with Green Campus for any duration of time.
Students interested in this more informal pathway for getting involved and exploring the organization should attend a team meeting, the dates for Fall 2020 have not yet been determined.
